CHRISTOPHER SHAWN WASHINGTON was born October 29, 1988 in Smithtown, N.Y. to Kiesha Mack and Derrick Washington.
On Monday August 3, 2020, the Lord saw fit to call him home.
Christopher was a native of Riverhead, New York. He was a beautiful soul with a heart of gold who would give you the shirt off his back. He enjoyed rollerblading and skateboarding. For many years during his youth you could find him at Stotzky Park from sunup to sundown. He also had an artistic talent and enjoyed drawing as well as writing and performing his own music.
Christopher was predeceased by his Father: Derrick Washington; Grandfather: Earnest Washington Jr.; Great-grandparents: Signora and Randolph Logan, Gladys and Earnest Washington Sr.; Uncle: Jason Mack and Cousin: Anthony Washington.
His memory will forever be cherished by his Mother: Kiesha Washington-Dean, Step-father, Jimmy Dean Sr. of Riverhead, NY; two Brothers: Devin Washington of Beech Island, SC and Malik Washington of Riverhead, NY; two Step-sisters: Shinnequa Dean, and Tanisha Whitley, two Step-brothers: Jimmy Dean Jr. (Tasha) and Jermaine Holmes of Riverhead, NY; Grandmother: Lettie Washington of Beech Island, SC; Grandparents: Rosemary and Edwin Taylor of Coram, NY; Tammy and Larry Mack of Powhatan, VA; Grandma: Valerie Brown of Riverhead, NY; Great-grandmother: Mabel Mack of Powhatan, VA; six Aunts: Tara Taylor, Stephanie Lister, Charisse MaGee and Alisha Smith all of Riverhead NY, Nicole Liggon of Middle Island, NY and Carisa Barwick of Lakeland, FL; four Uncles: Brandon Washington of Brooklyn, NY, Tracey Washington of Queens, NY, Anton Mack and Rashawn Lamb of Riverhead, NY; Godson: Edwin Brown of Riverhead, NY; God-parents: Crystal Allen of Richmond, VA and Brian Williams of Riverhead, NY; Niece: Destiny Washington of Beech Island, SC; Cousins: Tyr’k Lewis of Coram, NY and Jarita Dawn Walker of Jersey City, NJ; two God-sisters: Kiara Williams of Richmond, VA and Tamalyn Jackson of Greenville, SC; and God-brother: Desmond Epps of Windsor Mills, MD.
Christopher also leaves to cherish his memory a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, other relatives, friends and one special friend - Ms. Edna Brown.
